breakfst depart for Tsokar also known as white
lake. This is the area of nomadic people known
as khampas who live in large movable tents. The
whole r e gion has supported a vital salt
industry that allowed nomadic inhabitants to
trade with merchants from rest of the Ladakh.
Another great aspect of this region is the
amount of wildlife - commonly seen as Kiangs,
foxes and cuddy marmots. Evening visit the
